Like most businesses, we have some FAQ (or Frequently Asked Questions) we would like to answer to help you better prepare for your balloon order and upcoming event.
Balloons used outdoors are not guaranteed to last any specific amount of time as the sun, heat, wind, rain, etc., affect the lifespan of the balloons.
All of our helium balloons will float for at least 3 days if indoors but may last longer.
Once your order is finalized, an invoice will be emailed to you that can be paid online via a direct transfer. Confirmation is to be sent by a receipt.
For companies and businesses, we understand a cheque may need to be processed for payment. If a payment cannot be made before the event date, a purchase order will be required and payment made by 15 days after the event.
If you choose to cancel your reservation with us within 30 days of your scheduled event, we will refund 100% of your money. If you cancel within 15 days of your scheduled event, we will refund 50% of your money. If you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled event, we will refund 0%.
Yes. An Oon-site consultation is available on select days prior to the event date.
We provide balloon décor to the Kingston & St. Andrew area along with neighbouring St. Catherine area. We are also available to travel nationwide for large events.
We work via email or Whatsapp in order to exchange photos and will only exchange pricing in writing. This is also for your benefit to ensure order accuracy and allows both parties to view order details at any time. Working through email also allows us to provide quick responses while at other event locations or after business hours.
No, we can not guarantee the quality of balloons not provided by us. Other brand balloons may be defective or burst during or after inflation. The balloons we use is of top quality and is the longest lasting balloons on the market.
Orders should be placed as early as possible. Balloon designs are to be booked no later than 2 weeks in advance. Based on your colour preference, it may not be guaranteed that we have your request in stock.
To avoid the disappointment of not having your items available or your date available, please book with us as early as possible. We do not offer same-day delivery.
Balloon releases are another way of littering. When using helium inflated balloons, always make sure they are weighted down to prevent them from being inadvertently released. Keep in mind, when a balloon is released, they will eventually end up somewhere, creating trash.
We stand with NEPA by encouraging that balloons be weighted, not released outdoors, and disposed of properly when broken or deflated. Whether it's a single balloon or hundreds, let's keep them from flying away.
Keep balloons fun and be responsible! When handling balloons, always remember:
Do not leave children unattended with balloons. Balloons and/or embellishments, including but not limited to deflated balloons, balloon string, ribbon, etc. can be a choking hazard for all children 0-8 years old.
- Never release balloons into the atmosphere.
- When you're done enjoying your balloons, cut the ends and properly dispose (especially foil balloons).
- Never inhale helium gas.
- Always secure helium-filled balloons with a weight.
Yes, the amount is $3,500 plus delivery fee for Delivery within Kingston & St. Andrew area. These amounts are subject to change during holidays.
For outdoor events, we always recommend shaded and non-windy areas for balloon installations. Keep in mind latex balloons are biodegradable which means they oxidize and turn matte (foggy) over time. It’s best to use lighter colours for outdoor events such as pearl balloons, pastel balloons or chrome balloons. We absolutely do not recommend using dark colours outdoors such as black, dark blue, purple etc.
The Wind and Rain are not in our control; that said, in some cases, we cannot guarantee an outdoor installation depending on weather conditions the day of. Please ensure there is a backup space for your outdoor events!
In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order at the fault of GorgBalloonsJamaica and we are unable to come to an agreed solution for re-delivery we will refund your purchase in full.
If incorrect information is submitted on an order form, GorgBalloons Jamaica will not be held responsible.
